The front desk blamed it on the rain, which I thought was a pretty shady and lazy excuse. What a joke! We booked 3 nights at the hotel for a NON-smoking room, driving 6 hours for a promotion that my wife "won." When we checked in, we had no Wi-Fi service. No reason to nickel and dime patrons who just wanted to spend money in their casino!! It seems to me they were a little short-sighted. Then my husband talked to the assistant manager at the hotel and they finally agreed to let us check in early but we were so fed up we played in the casino until 4, went up to our room and didn't go back down until the next morning.we have stayed a numerous Harrah properties in the past but won't go back ever again. No one was interested in accommodating us. We went around the corner and sat down in the lobby and my husband called Harrah's main number asking for assistance and got the run around for 30 minutes. Really?! I just wanted to get in my room, freshen up and lose my money in their casino. No such luck, we were told that check in was at 4 and if we wanted to check in earlier it would be an additional $10. We got there at 2:10 and tried to check in. Where to start? First, we arrived here after traveling 1500 miles and we were looking forward to a relaxing stay.
